Lee began dancing at the age of 21 and graduated from London Contemporary Dance School with a 1st degree.

 

In Lee’s 3rd year he was asked to be a member of 4D,LCDS performance company where he worked over 2 years with choreographers: Mark Baldwin, Siobhan Davies, Wayne McGregor, Paul Taylor (under Susan Maguire) Diane Elshout & Frank Handler, Ian Spink, Sue McLennan, Janet Smith and Sarah Fahre. He joined Ricochet Dance Co with whom he danced until 1999.

 

Lee toured with Darshan Singh Bhullers’, Planted Seeds and has guested with ENO, The Charnock Company, Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporaneo, Random Dance Company, Kerry Nicholls, Vincent Dance Theatre, Aletta Collins  and spent two years with Richard Alston Dance Company.

 

In Summer 2003, Lee worked with Scarabeus in Landscapes of the heart and he was seen abseiling with gusto off the top of a 70mtr high bank in Germany! When not dancing Lee is often seen on the side of buildings performing aerial dance with Gravity and Levity and also running the set of Walk the Plank’s S.W.A.L.K as the messenger, among live pyrotechnics.

 

Film and TV credits include the The Wizard of Earthsea, Finding Neverland, Frankenstein directed by Michael Howells and Mark Baldwin, Jaguar Cars, The Rite of Spring, MTV and Top of the Pops.

 

He has been dancing with Walker Dance Park Music since 2000, performing the 3of us, The Self, Silence of the Soul, Essence and 5-2-10.

 

Lee also performs in Rafael Bonachela's piece E2 7SD which won the Place Prize 2004. Lee has been nominated twice for Outstanding Male by the Critics Choice Circle and for the Time Out Live Awards 2005. 2007-2008. Lee performed in the West End show Lord of the Rings.
